Supported DAWs

Four native plugins — pick the DAW you already work in.

AudioMagus installs as a signed, notarized AU / VST3 / AAX plugin on macOS 12+ and Windows 11. Drop it on your master bus, hit render, and the model returns a streamable preview plus a 24-bit WAV master pre-allocated to your session's sample rate.

The plugin surface

Drop a master bus on your session and ship in one click.

The interface reads like a hardware bus compressor — knob ranges, dB steppings, and bypass logic all match what a mix engineer expects. Under the hood, AudioMagus streams your bounce to the cloud render farm only when you choose to render; previews are computed locally on your CPU.

Pre-install checklist

Answers to the four questions producers ask before installing a new plugin.

Skip the forum threads. Here's the install path, offline behavior, latency cost, and authorization model — straight from the Stockholm engineering desk at Norrsken House.

01 How does the plugin actually install inside my DAW?

Download the AudioMagus installer from your account dashboard once — it bundles native VST3, AU, and AAX modules for Ableton Live 12, Logic Pro 11, Pro Tools 2024.6, and FL Studio 21 in a single signed package. The installer scans your system, drops each module into the DAW's recognized plugin folder, and rescans automatically; the plugin appears under Audio Units → AudioMagus Master (macOS) or as a VST3 entry on Windows. No per-DAW re-download, no manual folder hunting, no admin rights dance on most modern systems.

02 Can I render a master offline without an internet connection?

Partially. The plugin UI, waveform display, and parameter automation run fully offline — you can load presets, A/B against your mix bus, and tweak the target preset with no network. The actual render is a server-side inference pass on our cloud render farm, so a connection is required to commit a master and retrieve the rendered audio. Pro subscribers can pre-cache up to 200 local presets for travel sessions, but the final render always re-checks in. We surface the connection state in the plugin header so you never wonder why a render is pending.

03 What's the latency cost when I instantiate the plugin on a track?

Zero during playback. Because the mastering pass is rendered offline (not a real-time DSP process), the plugin sits in monitoring-bypass mode during arrangement playback and adds no round-trip latency to your session — buffer-size independent, sample-rate independent, and ARM-native on Apple Silicon. Your DAW's reported latency stays exactly what it was before you loaded the module. Render itself takes an average of 47 seconds for a single 3-minute track and 6 minutes 14 seconds for a full 12-track album on the cloud render farm.

04 How is the plugin authorized — iLok, machine ID, or account login?

Account-based authorization tied to your AudioMagus login. Sign in once inside the plugin window and your Pro tier, render credits, and preset library follow you across up to three activated machines — swap rigs without re-purchasing or calling support. No iLok dongle required, no machine-ID fingerprinting on a single host. Pro subscribers can deauthorize a machine remotely from the account dashboard if a laptop dies or a studio rebuild happens. SOC 2 Type II certified; tokens are scoped to the plugin process and never touch your session files.

One session. One master. Forty-seven seconds.

Open the plugin, drag in your mix, hear the master in 47 seconds.
